AC Milan signed Fikayo Tomori on a simple loan deal from Chelsea in January. He was originally signed as a backup center-back option in the squad until the end of the season.
But, the 23-year-old defender’s performances in the last few games caught the attention of the Milan board. Hence, they want Tomori on a permanent deal.
The England international started his Chelsea career with a bang last season. However, after a couple of hiccups, he was dropped by Frank Lampard and then shipped to Milan on loan. Tomori made his international debut in November 2019 against Kosovo off the bench
